Privacy Policy

The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, Austrian TKG 2021). This privacy policy informs you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

Contacting Us

If you contact us via the form on our website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored by us for six months for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not share this data without your consent.

Data Storage upon Conclusion of Contract

For the purpose of contract processing, the following data is stored by us: company name, name, phone number, e-mail address, postal address and, where applicable, VAT ID. The data provided is required for the fulfilment of the contract or for carrying out pre-contractual measures. Data is not transferred to third parties, with the exception of transmission to our tax advisor for the fulfilment of tax-law obligations and — at the customer’s request — the transfer of image data to cloud services (e.g. WeTransfer, Dropbox).

In the event of a contract being concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until expiry of the statutory retention period under tax law (7 years). Data processing is based on Art. 6(1)(a) (consent) and/or Art. 6(1)(b) (contract fulfilment) GDPR.

Cookies & Local Storage

This website does not use tracking cookies or web analytics services. Only technically necessary local storage (localStorage) is used to remember your language preference (German/English). No personal data is processed and no data is transferred to third parties.

Embedded Third-Party Services

Web hosting (Cloudflare): This website is delivered via Cloudflare Pages, operated by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA). When you access the website, technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, browser type) is processed in server log files. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare operates a global server network; requests from Europe are generally served from a location within the EU. Insofar as data is transferred to the USA, this takes place on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Contact form (Resend): If you send us an enquiry via the form on this website, the data you enter (name, e-mail address, project type, preferred date, equipment details and your message) is transmitted to our mailbox info@theframe.at. We use the service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) to deliver it; Resend processes the data solely for the purpose of delivering that single message, and any transfer to the USA takes place on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. The processing serves to answer your enquiry and to carry out pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Your details are not used for advertising and are not passed on to any further third parties. You may also send your enquiry directly by e-mail to info@theframe.at at any time.

Fonts: All fonts are loaded locally from our server. No connection is established to Google Fonts or other font services.

OpenStreetMap: Map tiles from the OpenStreetMap Foundation are loaded for the directions map. In the process, your IP address is transmitted to their servers (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — display of the studio’s location).

Instagram link: Our website contains a link to our Instagram profile. You only leave our website when you click the link; no data is transferred to Meta automatically.

Your Rights

You are generally entitled to the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, withdrawal of consent, and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority — in Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).
